All Lipari beaches are free
Unlike many Italian seaside resorts, all beaches on Lipari are public and free. There are no beach clubs with paid access. You can bring your towel and enjoy the sea anywhere without spending a cent. Some lidos offer sunbed and umbrella rental as an optional service, but beach access is always free.
Canneto Beach
The most popular and accessible beach on Lipari. A long stretch of pebbles and dark sand just 3 km from the town center, reachable by bus or on foot. Perfect for families thanks to its amenities (bars, restaurants, sunbed rental). Crystal-clear water with a gently sloping seabed.

Spiaggia Bianca / Spiagge Bianche (Porticello)

White Beach
A striking beach between Canneto and Acquacalda, at the foot of the old pumice quarries. Dark pebbles with a pumice seabed that gives the water an incredible turquoise colour. The beach is split between a free section and an equipped lido with bar and restaurant. In the evening the lido turns into a music venue.
